Looking through these photos it's impossible not to notice what fun people Blake and Brittany are. The amount of laughter alone caught in these moments is proof enough! Their fun personality and classic style was perfectly displayed all throughout their wedding.
Blake and Brittany met
while attending High Point University in High Point, NC. Although they were just acquaintances in
college, they later reconnected when they both moved to Raleigh, NC for their
careers.
Christmas is Brittany’s
favorite holiday. During a trip to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville to admire
the holiday displays, Blake proposed with a special ornament that said, “Will
you marry me?” placed in a tree at the estate! The couple then celebrated with a night at the Beaufort
House Bed and Breakfast.
Their celebration took
place at The Empire Room at the Elm Street Center here in Greensboro. They
wanted their wedding to be timeless and romantic with a classic color scheme of
champagne, ivory, and gold. An abundance of candles and lovely flowers filled
the room to create a great ambiance for guests. The gorgeous pearl and gem
accents on their cake definitely speak towards their romantic theme. Brittany’s dress acted as
the inspiration for their wedding cake with beautiful lace, ribbon, and pearl details. Their setup was
absolutely breathtaking!
