With the addition to our Dessert Cafe, we have had so many of you ask "where did that table come from?"..."who painted?"..."is that light fixture for sale?"; so we wanted to answer all of your questions!

Paint
Colors:
Accent wall color in shed is Burnished Clay by Behr. We
used Sherwin Williams Harmony paint in semi-gloss and had them match this
color.
White walls are Sherwin Williams Pure White. Harmony line in
flat.
White trim is high gloss, Behr, Ultra Pure White. My
favorite trim color and paint, period. We have used it for years!
White beadboard paint is Bakery Box White by Martha Stewart.
We had Sherwin Williams match the color and used the Harmony line in
Satin finish.
Bathroom Paint Colors:
The really pretty back bathroom color is by Valspar Brilliant
Metals in Simple Shimmer. The golden bathroom color is Pale Glow. These paints/glazes are are 2-step process,
but are very easy to apply.
One last paint color….we found the perfect paint to match
the white of IKEA’s cabinets! The color
is Benjamin Moore’s Paper Mache,
pearl finish! I stumbled onto this by
Googling it…and it is perfect!
Accessory
Sources:
The lovely hand-made glass and metal chandelier in shed is by Lousie
Gaskill in Raleigh!
All pillows are
either custom or from West Elm. They have a new store at Southpoint in Durham
and a great online site as well.
Chevron Blue rug: Ballard Designs
Grey patterend shag
rug in back room: West Elm
X-Benches in
lilac linen: Ballard Designs
Curtains in front
window: Crate and Barrel
Hanging glass vases
on walls: Arhaus (store in Raleigh at Crabtree Mall, or online)
2 Glass ball
chandeliers at large table in front;
Areas
Trash cans
throughout: The Container Store (Raleigh and Charlotte stores or online)
Bathroom
sources:
Hansgrohe Open Spout Faucets (TALIS): iBathTile online
Vanity is Rustic Chic by Fairmont, sink included! Home and Stone, online
Toto pedestal sink; National Builder Supply, online
Toto Soiree toilets, Beeson Hardware in High Point
Toilet tissue holders, shelves, hooks on doors: Ginger CINU at Plumbtile online
Bathroom lighting is from Lumens.com. Fascination by Varalux is the bubble-looking
one and Arabesque by Murray Feiss is the golden one with the linen shade.
Bathroom doors by Home Depot. Treviso pattern.
Furniture:
West Elm: Rustic wooden console table, grey sectional
sofa, ottoman, tree-stump wooden side table, grey leather chairs, round table in
shed, leather sofas in front room
Arhaus: Large rectangular dining tables…front and
back rooms; wood and upholstered chairs; marble-topped console table,
adjustable metal round tables (3); coat stand; square and rectangular large
wooden mirrors
World Market: Settees (The really soft ones that are so
comfy, but also the ones that the legs keep breaking on!....Aggh!); the
armchairs that are wood and upholstered;
Crate and Barrel: 2-door cabinet that we have the water station
set upon
Fireplaces:
The sleek, modern one in front parlour is by Dimplex. We ordered online at Net Direct Merchants.
The black one in the back room is also by Dimplex. It is double-sided! Also from same company online. If you Google electric fireplaces, multiple
sites come up. Most of them are owned by
the same parent company and they just have different “online” company
names. Dimplex is a very good
manufacturer for these types of
fireplaces. The glass does not get hot,
but the fan allows the unit to put out
heat if you want, or just flames only if you just want the effect and no
heat! We love them!
Skylights:
Roof Ply in Greensboro ordered and installed them and did a
fantastic job!
Flooring:
The white, rustic flooring is a laminate floor that Fred
Baker at Weeks Hardwood Flooring suggested.
WE LOVE IT! It is durable, easy
to clean, and hides dirt really well!!!
It is “Cottage Oak White” by FausFloor.
Music
System:
We are using Bose speakers and a Sonos Connect music system
to listen to online radio sources or Sirius XM.
Paul Heist designed and helped install the system for us with the
help/coordination of our security alarm company, Triad Hodges Electric. Lee Hancock at Triad Hodges Electric
contributed to and assisted with this project also!
Cabinets/Granite
Top:
Cabinets are by Ikea…we LOVE them! The granite top was installed by Carolina
Custom Surfaces. The granite is Crema
Antarctica (leathered, not polished!).
Misc: We used “Ducks Back” by Castle for fabric
protection on all of our fabrics! This
was the recommendation of Mike at Murphy’s Upholstery!
