We were honored to have been asked to make these Old-World cookies for the cover of this month's Our State Magazine. Our very own Elizabeth Volinski hand-painted the cookies that you see here. As an added special touch....the rolling pin that we used in making the cookies was my Mom's! My father is a huge fan of Our State and was so excited to hear about our making these cookies that he drove right over with Mom's rolling pin and dough bowl for us to use!
The cookies are best used for ornaments on the tree, or tied on a package for extra flair! Although they are edible....we would recommend our old-fashioned sugar cookies instead for a treat! Save these for old-fashioned holiday cheer!
